Get to Know Your Characters with Beautiful People by Paperfury.com and Furtherupfurtherin.net

Beautiful People is a writing blog meme that is hosted by Cait at Paperfury and Sky at FurtherUpFurtherIn! Each month they post questions for writers to answer about your characters, or in this case, yourself!

How do you decide which project to work on?
Whatever I feel like at that moment. I regularly have three or four stories I’m working on, sometimes more, but I always seem to go with my Teenaged Anti-Socialite series.

How long does it usually take you to finish a project?
Anywhere from two hours to a month, or if the story has been set aside, could be years. I do always intend on finishing my stories though.

Do you have any routines to put you in the writing mood?
Nope, I always love to write, deciding the direction to go with a story can be hard though.

What time of day do you write best?
I like to write at night, I’m too groggy in the morning.

Are there any authors you think you have a similar style to?
Not that I’ve noticed.

Why did you start writing, and why do you keep writing?
Because I love stories! They play through my head anyways, might as well write them down.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve written?
The hardest story was after my favourite story, since it’s a short story series, after writing the ninth installment, I wasn’t sure which direction to go. Even now I’m not sure if I went the right way.

Is there a project you want to tackle someday but you don’t feel ready yet?
Not at the moment.

What writing goals did you make for 2017 and how are they going?
I’d like to consistently put out a short story every month, it should be weekly, but my procrastination often gets in the way.

Describe your writing process in 3 words or a gif!
Lots of daydreaming.
