Get to Know Your Characters with Beautiful People by Paperfury.com and Furtherupfurtherin.net

Beautiful People is a writing blog meme that is hosted by Cait at Paperfury and Sky at FurtherUpFurtherIn! Each month they post questions for writers to answer about your characters. Seeing as Kara from my Anti-Socialite series is my only repeater (as I love that series so much) I shall answer for her.

What’s their favourite place they’ve ever visited?
She hasn’t traveled much. Her favourite place is her own room.

What’s one mistake they made that they learned from?
Trusting too much. The closer they are to you, the more it hurts when they betray you.

What was their favourite subject in school? Or favourite thing to learn about?
Art and accounting. With Oliver in chemistry class, that has been one of the top and bottom, all because of him.

What’s their favourite flower/growing thing?
Maple trees, lotus flowers and roses.

Have they ever made someone cry? What happened?
Kara has made multiple people cry as she retaliated with her sharp tongue.

Would you consider them a reliable or unreliable narrator?
In general, she’s reliable.

What do they dream about at night?
She has extremely vivid dreams that vary from out of this world, or being cooped up in a building for people with special powers. She may have even had a few odd ones about Oliver.

They’ve gone out for a “special meal.” What would they eat?
Mushroom pizza and Reese’s ice cream cake.

What’s at least one thing they want to do before they die?
Figure out what it is she really wants to do in life. No career path has caught her eye.

Do they have any distinguishing or unique talents?
Not sure about unique talents, but she is super smart and knows how to fight; she knows how to get out of most holds.

Hope you enjoyed learning more about Kara and her parents. Did you do beautiful people this month? Head over to check out more Beautiful People answers.
